Scientific Name:   Tussilago farfara


Grows along streams and wet ditches. Common name refers to leaf shape, which resembles a colt's hoofprint. Leaves white-felted beneath. Native to Europe and parts of western and central Asia. Aster family (flower heads composed of multiple florets, often disk flowers or both disk and ray flowers).
